Operation Thymus: Update

We met with Dr Markert today and she advised that they had planned to consent 2 thymus' over the last couple of weeks, however, for various reasons the selected ones were not good enough for the Man. We find the wait difficult but as we have said before, we know it's so important to find the perfect one and Dr Markert is particular about what gets through the screening process and we like it that way! Please pray for the man while we wait, that he stays healthy and safe.

Brett arrived home yesterday, safe and sound. We miss him so much! Peter and Priscilla leave on Saturday, Rocky and I will be sad :( but we'll have visitors again soon!

Aunty PC & Uncle Petey Arrive For a Visit...Still No Thymus Date!

Last night Peter and Priscilla (my twin sister) arrived from Canada. We were delighted to see them and I think Rocky might have remembered them both from their Christmas visit to Australia as he had smiles and chuckles for both of them. Priscilla and I are looking forward to spending our birthday together for the first time in about 8 years. It will be great.

Rocky is now eating solids a couple of times a day, finally putting on weight, the first time since we've arrived here, which is great!

Brett leaves on Monday :( and Priscilla will stay with Rocky, while Peter and I go to the airport with Brett .

We've had a few visits from the chaplain already and they organised for the Catholic priest to come along and bless Rocky and pray for his good health. A few tears were shed that's for sure.
