It has snowed, been sunny, rained, frost - and they say Melbourne has 4 seasons in 1 day!
Rocky has been very busy getting bloods and being prepared for the transplant. Duke is quite amazing and absolutely HUGE. I asked for a map of the campus and they could only give me the Western campus, as that's all that will fit on one A4 sheet (and it's so tiny, I can't read the words!)
The old southern homes are very pretty and this place must look beautiful in spring. It is still quite striking with all the trees bare though.
We have an operation date of 20th February. Rocky is in great health and let's hope it stays that way. Everyone is very friendly. Most of them say they love Australia but most think we are British to start out with.
Brett arrived on Friday 2/2 which is great!
A few people we've spoken to think it's great that you can walk around in Australia at night and not get shot or stabbed! There are about 30 gangs here in Durham, so we have been warned not to take the bus (anytime!) and definately, no late nights out partying - otherwise we might end up downstairs in the Adult Hospital. Oh No!.
